The Oreck Super Air 8 tabeletop model is perfect for any room.  The purifier completely regenerates the air in a 900 square foot room every hour.  The system uses electronic precipitation, with a five stage filtration system.  The Super Air 8 has a permanent filter system that quietly will clean your room’s air of allergens, dirt and dust.  The system has an indicator light that tells you when the filter needs cleaning.  It will capture mold, pet hair, dust mites, household dust and allergens.  Once it is captured in the filter the bacteria cannot survive, making it 95% efficient.  Great for deodorizing rooms, especially rooms with cigarette smoke.  In the 5 stage cleaning process, the second stage uses ionizer process that positively charges small particles and removes the odors.  The ionizing process is great for removing odors, though not recommended for individuals who suffer from Asthma due to the ionizing process.  Individuals who suffer from Asthma may want to look at the Air Tower listed under Air Purifiers.  This tabletop air purifier is offered at a great price for those looking to clean the air in any room at home or in an office, while deodorizing it at the same time.
